How we protect your accounts

Layered controls, member education and clear reporting paths — here is how account security works.

Protecting your credentials

GuardianTrustFinancial will never call, text or email you asking for your password or a one-time code. Sign in only from the address bar, keep your contact details current, and report anything unexpected to Member Service right away.

Strong, unique passwords

Use a password manager and never reuse a banking password on another site.

Two-factor authentication

An authenticator app is stronger than SMS. Both enrollment options are supported.

Review activity often

Check pending and posted transactions weekly and report anything unfamiliar right away.

Recognize impostor contact

A real institution will not call, text or email you asking for a password or one-time code.

Lock your cards

Freezing a card instantly is faster than waiting to see whether a charge posts.

Keep contact details current

Alerts only protect you if they reach a phone number and email you still control.

Reporting fraud

Inside the online banking dashboard you can report a card lost or stolen, request a replacement, freeze a card, review login history and sign out remote devices. Each action writes a audit entry visible in the administrator dashboard. No notification leaves your browser. If you are dealing with actual fraud, contact your real financial institution using the number printed on the back of your card.
