Our story
GuardianTrustFinancial was chartered in 1954 by a group of municipal employees in Cedar Hollow who pooled deposits to make small consumer loans to one another. Membership later expanded to anyone who lives, works, worships or attends school in the surrounding counties. Members elect a volunteer board, and surplus earnings return to members through rates and reduced fees.
Disclosure: GuardianTrustFinancial is a software project, not a chartered financial institution. The history, branches, members and figures presented across this site are illustrative, and no real money, deposits or payment networks are involved.
